Remember that time I went to Ottawa to take a four-day gourmet short course from Le Cordon Bleu? In case you don't, here's a refresher: In September, I went to Ottawa to take a four-day gourmet short course called Passport to Pastry from Le Cordon Bleu. It was probably the best four days I've ever spent on my own. It was amazing. And now, I'm doing it again!
Today, I got a verbal okay from my boss to take off the last week of March and I'm now all signed up and confirmed and reserved and booked and excited. I'm taking Viennoiserie, in which I shall learn croissants, sweet breads, and brioche. This is all I need in life. Because it's coming up so quickly (less than four months! I signed up for Passport to Pastry over a year in advance), I also jumped right on booking my flight and hotel. So it's all set and ready to go. And paid for. So yeah. I spent too much money today.
Oh hey, if you want to place an advance order for some croissants, feel free to put the money directly onto my Visa.
